NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
(Pursuant of Sections 506 and 526 of the Real Property Tax Law)
HEARING OF COMPLAINTS
Notice is hereby given that the Town of New Lisbon, County of Otsego has completed the tentative assessment roll for the current year.
From May 1st to May 25th the assessment roll may be seen at the Town Clerk’s office by calling 607-965-8508 for an appointment. The assessment roll for the Town of New Lisbon may be viewed at the Otsego County website, www.otsegocounty.com. (Under Departments select Real Property Tax Services, then select Assessment Rolls.)
The Assessor will be in attendance at the New Lisbon Town Hall, 908 County Hwy. 16, Garrrattsville, NY to answer phone calls (607-965-8381) and/or to set up appointments if the matter cannot be handled by phone. During this time, facemasks and social distancing practices are required by the Town of New Lisbon. Hours are:
May 12th from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM,
May 16th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM,
May 19th from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and
May 22nd from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
The New Lisbon Board of Assessment Review will meet at the New Lisbon Town Hall or by webconference on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments on the application of any person believing himself to be aggrieved.
