The New Lisbon Town Board has been holding special meetings to explain the need for a new highway garage and the impact it would have on taxpayers. With the grant and low-cost loan we were awarded from USDA we can build a new highway garage and be set for 50 plus years. Or we can fix the current 60 year-old garage and start saving for it’s eventual replacement, which would actually cost us more in the long run.
The question of whether to proceed with the project will be on the November 2, 2021 election ballot. (Flip ballot over-and we are Proposition #6) Please take the time to view the attached presentation below, prepared by Supervisor Edward Lentz and be an informed voter.
If you have any further questions, please contact the Supervisor, Hwy. Supt. or any Town Board member.
